TABS hosting Bolton Percy on a cloudy Friday evening at the Tutor 2 U Oval.
Joash Duggal winning the toss opted to bat.
Contreras uncharacteristically went early doors to a fantastic delivery allowing Young and Sturdy to get stuck in to the BP openers.
Young retiring on 30 from 24 balls and Sturdy retiring soon after with 33 from 30.
9 further runs added by A Hall and and impressive 20 from Jarvis put TABS on 141, Ferguson rounding up the scorecard with 4 of his own TABS finishing on 145.
With the light starting to fade and a chill hitting the air, Culloden opened the bowling attack with partner Harneeka at the other end. Culloden picking up 2 wickets (including a well taken catch from Contreras) and Harneeka 1 wicket. Joash Duggal and James Hall bowled 4 very solid overs with Duggal picking up a wicket, Young and Ferguson holding up the run rate with 2 overs each, Ferguson picking up a wicket. Sturdy and Contreras pitched in with an over each but it was Culloden and Harneeka again who finally took the remaining wickets to send the 8 strong BP side home with no points to show for their trouble 128 All Out.
A match that ended closer than it maybe should have but a very good result nonetheless.
A very special mention to our U9’s but most importantly to Harneeka who bowled the 2nd and 4th overs, plus 1 additional over, taking 2-18 and proving that if we bowl a good line and length, the batsman has to play and we will take wickets.
Thanks to everyone who helped out. A fantastic team effort, on and off the pitch.
