Notice of Club Annual General Meeting

On behalf of the Club Committee, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Thorp Arch Cricket Club.
The AGM is an important constitutional gathering of the members of Thorp Arch Cricket Club to hear about the progress of the Club, recent and on-going developments and the many achievements of the various sections and their members during the past year. The meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas for the future of the Club.
A minimum of 8 voting members are required to conduct the AGM. Please note that junior members are not eligible to vote.
Voting members may make nominations for the committee to be elected at the AGM. This must be done by sending the nominees name, the post for which they are nominated and the names of both the proposer and seconder to the Club Secretary. This should be received no later than the 23 November 2017. Nominations are welcome for all positions:
The positions that are open for nominations are:
- Junior Secretary
- Fixture Secretary
- 1st XI Captain
- 2nd XI Captain
- Mid-week XI Captain
- Child Protection Officer
NB: Junior Managers are elected at the first committee meeting after the AGM.
The election of officers will normally be by a show of hands.
In addition, if you have any other business that you feel is relevant to the AGM, then please note that this should be submitted, in writing, to the secretary at least seven days before the meeting (email@example.com).
