Win for U9’s

TABS under 9 took on Great Preston in the Andy Kay Trophy. The tutor2u oval looked resplendent in spring sunshine. Great Preston won the toss and elected to bat. Solid bowling and fielding from TABS restricted our opponents to 233. Everyone getting involved with a fine team spirit. After drinks, TABS batted, soon compiling plenty of runs with Gabby Hall, Oliver Fraser Smith scoring heavily. Sensible batting from James Hall, James Lakin, Max Olbison, Elliott Davies left it to Charles Westmoreland and Joash Duggal to guide the team to a comfortable win. Great Preston played well for an inexperienced side. Thanks to Pete Westmoreland for assisting with the raffle and Louise and Allan Olbison for running the tuck shop and scoring. Next game is on Sunday in the league at Kirk Deighton. Well done TABS! DG
